The Town of Buxton is seeking a motivated and energetic candidate for its recently vacated position of Tax Collector. The position is full time (40 hours a week), with a competitive wage and benefits package. The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and a high level of competency working with computers and technology. Prior municipal experience is preferred but not necessary. We are looking for a candidate with a high level of professionalism, a positive image and the ability to handle a multitude of tasks to ensure the public is served efficiently and effectively. This position has significant statutory responsibilities. This person must be able to be bonded and pass a background check.
