WHAT ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS DO MOST MAINE TOWNS AND CITIES USE? I KNOW THE BIG
PLAYERS IN MAINE ARE NDS, TRIO AND POSSIBLY MUNIS. ARE THERE OTHERS BEING
UTILIZED? THANKS,

Weston uses Trio and Excel

Last year I switched to Quickbooks. It is much more efficient than
One-write. But it also has some facets I don't care for. Town of Greenwood

New Sweden uses Municipal Advantage and Quickbooks.

The Town of Starks uses Peachtree Complete Accounting software.

The Town of Frankfort uses Trio. We are using the DOS based product and have everything but the assessors package. I am very satisfied with it. Melissa

Lamoine uses Peachtree for General Ledger. It exports nicely to Excel to create customized budget reports.
