How do you handle full time employees who are not part of a union? Do you have contracts with all of them? Thank you.

Responses:

WE DO NOT HAVE A UNION IN NAPLES. (Judy)

The Town of Fairfield has both union and non-union employees. Employees who are not covered under one of the four union contracts follow the Town's Personnel Policies. This Manual was recently updated, I would be glad to forward it to you if it would be helpful! Non-Union employees are, for the most part, management employees and most collect a salary as Town employees. We have union contracts for police, fire, public works and a three person clerical unit. Town of Kittery has 92 full time employees. 85 of which are unionized. The other 6 are under a personel board and the Town Manager has a contract with the Town Council.

We have no union employees here. The Town Manager does work under a contract here in Manchester.(Darlene Beaulieau, Manchester)
