Could someone please direct me to the new law allowing municipalities to reimburse excise tax to residents?  We are receiving calls and my internet search efforts have been fruitless.

Responses:

36 M.R.S.A. subsection 1482(5)(D).  Dedham residents voted on it at our June 2008 Town Meeting and voted to reimburse.  Many councils didn't approve reimbursement. Hope this helps!! (Michelle Begin, Dedham)
