Posted by Scott Gesuldi, Rangeley, April 20, 2006: If anyone has feedback on the pros and cons of Trio vs. the new windows NDS could you please reply? We are upgrading and are in the process of looking primarily at those two brands. We have also gotten some interest from a vendor in Mass. that carries a system called Fundware. Is anyone familiar with that system? Any comments would be appreciated.

The Town of Richmond along with about 15 other Towns just went through a bid process for upgrading our computers and almost every Town voted that Munis was a better choice over NDS & Unifund (Laurie Boucher, Richmond)

We here in Manchester have the Trio software. This program makes my job much easier. I have spoken to several of my coworkers and they are in agreement that Trio has made everyone's job easier.I would recommend that if you have not be able to check this software out, that you take the time to go to another office, so that you can see first hand how efficiently this program works! We also use TRIO. We were with NDS and when we were ready to convert to windows NDS was just so much more expensive so we went with TRIO. We are very satisfied with the product. (Wanda Thomas, Caribou)

I could be TRIO's posterchild.  Greatest thing since sliced bread! I worked w/ NDS many years ago.  It did the job, but I wasn't overly impressed (Dawna Myrick, Hallowell)

For the money and ease of use, in my opinion TRIO is the best. Just coverted from another company this year to TRIO, but had it in two other towns before this one. I know it took my staff time to figure out a few of the things that were different but I think they are finding much value to the programs now that they are getting more comfortable with the changes from our old software, and in fact I think they find many things much easier. We at the Town of Addison have enjoyed using the Trio program since a
year ago last March. It makes all jobs much easier. We would recommed this program to anyone looking for new software. (Arleta Grant, Addison)

After a competitive bid process, the Town of St. Agatha went with TRIO. (We had three bids). Started up March 1st with TRIO and so far we are very pleased. I would have no problem recommending them to any town. (Ryan Pelletier, St. Agatha)
